That's one of the nicest straps I've seen on this watch.
Agreed, do you need to get the deployant clasp seperateley or does the strap manufacturer provided it?

Clasp separately from him was USD 40, don't know whether a OEM would also fit the strap but the clasp is generic Omega.

Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a great Christmas. First post from me. I got my 50th Anniversary Apollo 11 Speedy just before Christmas (number 6xxx). I love this watch, pictures don't it justice. I love the contrast the gold gives, it just pops with the ceramic bezel. Anyone else noticed the different lug design (or is the case shaped slightly differently) from the standard Moonwatch Professional? Pictured next to my Rising Sun:

The case is shaped differently, more like vintage Speedmasters.

Thank you, I may have to treat myself to this in the New Year, although the original bracelet strap is also stunning.

Nice, I like that. The colour suits it

Yeah, and lends it a little bit of ruggedness. I'll probably go back to the bracelet once I've got a few more daily wearers

is that the 45th anniversary strap?

No, but it's from the same supplier. Not sure if it's the exact same color but it's pretty close

Totally agree, may sound odd but I wonder... could they create a NATO styled version??
@YY77 could I borrow your pics and ask?

That was my question. I wonder if it would scratch the back of the watch. That's the reason I took the 45th off the NATO and put it on a leather Omega strap

It doesn't. I had a 45th that I wore with the original NATO and others. Also, the caseback of the 50th is sapphire (covering the laser-etched bootprint) so it'll be resistant to scratching.

Should we create a new list for dings and scratches?

1. Jakemeister.

Shows you are wearing it. Good man. Mine will be the same by the end of the month I am sure

Like a car I guess. After the first door ding, and the angst that comes with it, I think the worry fades and it truly becomes a part of your life.

So I shouldn’t order a replacement bezel?? Lol.

Sorry mate - I thought it was the case and that was a reflection on the bezel. Ouch. How did it happen?

Can you see it when wearing the watch as it looks below the lip? If not, I’d hold on a while as you will get other scrapes and scratches and have them all done in one go.

No clue. It’s only on the top surface. The rest is fine. I’m sure there will be more soon!
