And this Stuffler. Well done Speedy_fan. Good to see there’s plenty of morally-sound people still out there.

Thanks for that, it's just reminded me to ask if the option of that 3rd watch has turned up yet.

How can you be so sure that I’m not going to get one? You’ve not even got a clue where I’ve placed my order :D

We both know that you always had a slim chance, and now slim's out of town.

I’ve never said I’ve got a slim chance. What makes you think I won’t get one?

Because you are probably on a second string list that's a backup list of names who are hoping that enough people pass from the actual list and because Slim is out of town.:)

Sorry to disappoint you but I’ve been in almost weekly contact with my supplier. I know exactly what number I am on the FIRST (and only) list and I know how many they’ve received so far. I’m 100% getting one despite only laying down £500 deposit. They’ve also took my deposit for another watch, of which I’m first on that list.

Sorry mate. Sucks to be you right now.

Good to see deliveries continue slowing.

Not sure why you think it's good to have deliveries slowing but it does appear deliveries to people on lists here on OF have slowed dramatically. Not sure if that means anything, maybe just a pause or maybe most deliveries have been made and they are just allocating the last pieces.

Agree with your comment as I am still waiting and hence that deliveries are trickling is good news to me, because most of the replies are about profit or resellers. Just want to see my piece one day and decide if I want the piece or not.

Hi all, I'm a newbie to this site and also to owning an Omega watch. I was able to get this edition last week after asking around a few shops in London. I was a bit surprised considering I was told there is a waiting list going around for some time. I'm guessing perhaps that after initial hype, interest in this watch diluted and is now more readily available now? It's a stunning watch so i'm really pleased to be able to get hold of it :)

I think the Buzz (pun intended) around these has dropped off significantly in recent weeks, I enquired today with the dealer who bought my first two watches and the reply was they would only considered a commission sale. So they are struggling to get the £12k they have been asking.

Agree the initial flurry of excitement has abated but that was to be expected, but £12k is still way over list price in the UK market. I'm sure they would still move swiftly at list price, of course that leaves no profit for a business who has to make a profit on the secondary market. But if the current market price is holding at the initial Omega sales price it does show some resilience for the guy who bought for his personal collection. Of course still very early in the game and anything could happen.

Of course the initial grey market price was ott, but some people were will to pay top dollar for the watch. Anyone getting one at list price now can\should rest assured that the watch price won't tank any time soon.
