^^^^ Yep. I think history will show Omega got the edition number and retail price pretty much on target.

I'm very happy with my investment. It is a long term keeper and short term values have not been a factor in my purchase of this watch (nor the gold one to follow).

If anyone is interested in an alternate strap, I ordered and put the 98000037 on my AP11 50th along with a 94521813 deployant clasp. It looks leather, but is actually black rubber with (I think) a leather backing so not water proof.

Only issue is a teeny gap between the curved ends where it meets the watch case so right now when it's on my kinda slim wrist, if you look closely you can see the tan leather backing from the top. I "think" after it breaks in and conforms more to my wrist shape, this will go away. I had one of these a while back on another watch and it wasn't an issue.

I LOVE the stock metal bracelet, but the watch is kinda heavy with it on and I wanted to spare mine from wear.

Cheers

I had done something similar to my 45th a while back in place of its NATO

Can't say I'm feeling that strap choice, but if it works for you that is all that matters. I love the stock bracelet, fits like a glove and construction and clasp is first rate. Too heavy....nah. Watches are made to be worn, not babied.

Has anyone arrived this month?
Got a call today from the second AD where I put my name on the list for a SS that it arrived. They forgot I mailed them 2 months ago I didn't need it anymore as the first one came through already and I wanted them to use the down payment for the A13 50th.

Did they tell you what edition number it had?

They come out randomly, don't put much faith in the number to tell you where they are in the distribution cycle.

I’m still waiting. I was told August initially. I reckon I’ll be lucky if it comes in before December. Omega sure know how to drag a release out and take all the excitement out of it.

They have always said distribution would run from July through December 2019. I was told it would be in that window. Seems some outlets overpromised. Hang in there.

Oh, I am but it takes the excitement away when you really want them in the initial surge of excitement. That said, gives me some time to assess what I really want rather than an impulse purchase so all good mate!
