Surprised that they didn't have the Astronaut Kit display box for your watch, that's the first I've heard of that. Everyone else got the full kit. When did they say you would get your box?
Got it about a week ago. Omega shipped in with a regular box. The anniversary box was complete when it arrived

Picked up my watch this week sans display box and extras as well (US AD). Guess that's how they're coming in right now. Don't have an ETA for the box.
Mine finally came in. Did you get yours?

So do you get to keep the non-display box in addition to getting the display box later for the inconvenience? Or did they request you return it when you get the display box?
No. My AD said I could keep the wooden box

With MWO pics in background ...

and next to its brothers. The empty slot is reserved for next year's 50th Anniversary of Apollo 13, if doable ...

Great strap!

Do you have a model number or a link to the piece on their website?

The various textile and leather straps that people have used are fine, but it is hard to beat the new, thin proprietary Apollo 11 steel bracelet. I haven't seen anything yet that would want me to change it. But everybody has their own idea of what looks good and works for them.

A month after the clock, the figure has arrived. It has been a gift from my Omega boutique, having bought them several watches, measuring 30 cm high and weighing almost 3 kilograms

Thats brilliant

Wow, that's amazing! You are very lucky. I've been trying to persuade my AD to let me have their golden astronaut but apparently they have to return all the advertising materials to Omega. No joy getting one despite my pleas!

Yup, the box with all accessories came in last week. I kept the wooden box as well.

Any gold LE owners on here in London area willing to show me their watch? I was offered the SS on Friday but declined as I want to hold out for a gold... I asked if buying it would help my position but they said no. I’d be really keen to see on in the flesh if anyone can oblige. My AD are yet to get their allocation.

Thank you! Plan is to keep it, will remove all plastics next week and start wearing it.. winding is not very easy though, kinda hard to get the crown comfortably

From your pics it looks like it needs a few links taken out to fit properly. The winding will loosen up somewhat as you use it.

I find it very stiff initially to wind, but after a number of use, it became much easier

To those wondering about fitting the bracelet onto a vintage Speedy, or saying it won’t fit, I present this guy on Reddit, who bravely agreed to try a swap at my request.

Let me preface this by saying I’m a little nervous about what could be an unseated pin on the 6 o’clock side, resulting in a sloped endlink. But it could just be an illusion.

The guy says the watchmaker at an OB simply popped it off the 50th and put it on his 321. He says the fit is snug with no wobble.

Scroll past the video for stills and another video.

I just got the Apollo 11 bracelet fitted to my Silver Snoopy, and it’s amazing. It worked using 19mm spring bars. Ω SKU 068ST2107 to be exact.
