Looks like a few AD's and boutique's around the world have a few in stock that are unallocated (like Birmingham UK and Boston). A few lucky souls will be able to get one without putting out any effort other than stumbling into the establishment at the right time.
I doubt this. I’ve just phoned Birmingham to be nosy and she said there’s absolutely no chance of getting one if not already on their list.

She didn’t say how long the list was but said they’ve got a list much longer than the number of watches available and that they weren’t taking any more names.

I really can’t see anyone being able to get one of these at RRP unless already on a list. I phoned about 25% of the OB’s in the UK before I got on a list and that was 4 months ago.

It seems unlikely to me too (IMHO) that with such a low allocation to OB's and AD's against the long wait lists not all of them being designated.

Just got back from the OB on this Speedy Tuesday inc. watch no. 41xx and the bottle of champagne.

I am not a bracelet (it is very nice though) person so searching for ideas for a leather strap - probably black or grey with stripes before wrist time ...

Congrats! I'm also 41xx - maybe we're neighbor's?

Glad that more and more are being delivered, the list is being whittled down. Maybe they will complete all deliveries before the end of the year which was their target, a six month delivery window (Jul through Dec).

Hehe I did ask, and OB said that among several watches that they delivered the numbers were all over the places.

Almost all numbered edition watches are delivered in a random order, there are often various assembly lines, often in different locations, in different time frames, so cases and movements end up randomized, then they have to go through testing and then shipping around the world where customs can take its time toll. By the time they get to the end user the numbers mean little as far as how the edition delivery is going. And the higher the edition number the more randomness you are going to get.

100% correct 👍

New member here. Put down my deposit with OB in Boca Raton, FL in May and got the call this past weekend that mine finally arrived. I had the bracelet sized there and wore it home - and for the remainder of the day. Long wait, but worth it…very pleased overall. Good luck to everyone else counting down the days.

Yes you’re right. I saw it last month on Omega Event at New Delhi. Gold is indeed very sophisticated and subtle. My only concern still is the 9 o’clock sub dial image. Had they swept that with the foot impression from the back, it would have had the best Speedmaster ever for me. It reminds me that we don’t live in a perfect world.
My relations with OB opens the window of buying it whenever it comes to them and I’m really torn between yes and no. I just keep telling myself that at this price I should wait for 321 to come. Then again I realize that this window would be long gone by then. No reprieve yet from this imbroglio.

Honestly, I had the same concern as you, but when you actually get it and look at it, it’s pretty cool and does not bother me.

I also thought about waiting for the 321, but this 50th is way too special for me to pass on. I will probably get the 321 as well as shoes a different specialness of the speedmaster.

Decided on black leather Buland and Sons with beige-ish stitching, which arrived earlier today ...

It will still be possible to get one as I know that people who had put their names on these lists have not came forward.

A month after the clock, the figure has arrived. It has been a gift from my Omega boutique, having bought them several watches, measuring 30 cm high and weighing almost 3 kilograms
