They must be starting to come through thick and fast now then....just received the call that mine’s arrived at my AD.

Can’t really afford it but wtf - only here once and all that!

Collecting on Thursday.

Proves that previous buying history is important. I’m still waiting for the call from OB in London (where I have no previous)

Bloody excited now!

Fresh on the wrist today after collecting this afternoon.

Really happy with it, given I'd not seen one in the flesh. Its a watch that really has so many dimensions to it depending on the light and angle you're viewing from.

I knew it was for me after seeing the pictures and even more so in person.

The bracelet makes it supremely comfortable.

All in all, a very happy customer!

There are five shown on Chrono24 from the USA ranging from $13,000 to $16,500, with an average of $14,750. No idea how many of these will sell at what seems to be a pretty steep premium (about 40%) over MSRP + sales tax. This is natural, it always happens, then things will settle down. People are just testing the waters to see if someone comes forward that just has to have one, even at an inflated price. I suspect this edition will hold close to its retail price long term, but the market will determine its price fate.

There is a well respected dealer who has had a brand new one for $12,375 for a few weeks now, still available it seems.

For me is very sad to see this.. In my country there is just one OB and as soon the watch was revelead months ago I called them to put me on the list, I was the 7th on the list and was quite hopefully that I will get one because there are so many for this LE.

This weekend they told me that only 4 was reserved for them so I wil not make it.

Not sure for how much, but looks like like it's sold.

Ok so forgive me but I don't really have the time to peruse 71 pages of info, but I have a question...

What is the current availability of these? I'm assuming sold out.
They were of no interest to me so I really paid no attention, but my mother in law wants to buy one for her husband as a 50th birthday present.
He loves space, its his 50th birthday, thus, the 50th anniversary Speedy.
So I'm thinking we can't just call up an AD or boutique and purchase one...but I figured I'd check.
Or at least put a "WTB" out there if there is anyone considering parting with one.
In the meantime, off to Chrono24...

Nice mother-in-law! You can always call an OB or AD on the off chance somebody just cancelled but I think it would be a very, very long shot. They are available on the secondary market, brand new, unwrapped in their coffin......at a premium of course. Cheapest I've seen is about $12,400, and many higher priced. Whether that price comes down much as the market settles down, no one knows.

Such a nice piece! Congratulations to everyone with these in their hands. I’m jealous.
Have we still not had anyone here actually try the bracelet on a normal Speedy yet? No speculation, or opinions, but actually tried them together?

It always hurts when you get that first scuff, scratch or nick on a new watch, or car. But unless it is a safe queen these things will happen, and now it is personalized.

I have read in a Fratello article about safe queens, such watches being compared to "not sleeping with your SO to save her/him for the next one", sounds in both cases very stupid to do so.🤨
