At this point I am pretty sure none of the forum members care about your thoughts on anything.

That's a good example of how the watch looks when looking at it square on, not the best, but it comes in to it's own when the light catches the dial from an angle and the gold starts to shine, but face on it's fairly lifeless.

Good point. Maybe Omega could have used a lenticular image of Aldrin's butt coming down the Lem

How do you think the resale price will hold on this watch?

If only we could know how the value of watches change over time.

Prices will be cheaper in some months... 6969 pieces is too much for a limited edition.

Absolutely... I think that it will be in weeks, not in months, when prices will go down. Lot of pieces, high price ... I don’t see it will be a killer-watch.

Sometimes, with limited editions, you see an immediate over-price (because professionals and flippers)... when the watch is not an unicorn (very usually, because a not so atractive design, not so limited edition, etc), prices start to be reduced (just look at Speedmaster 60th Anniversary, even more for Seamaster 60th and Railmaster 60th)... and when the watches that has been bought to be sold has disappeared, price evolution will show how is the real interest of the watch sometimes up (example: Snoopy Speedmaster, white dial edition), sometimes down.

Of course, it’s my opinion.

Nice photo, but photoshopped to hell, it looks nothing like it.
Really? I think it looks exactly like this. Infact this photo barely shows how much glint and gold it captures in the right light. I'll post my photos for others to see.

The photo in question has been altered, the dial is not dark grey and my point is that looking square on the watch looks fairly 2 dimensional, but at the right angle it takes on a whole new meaning and looks infinitely better and 3 dimensional.

Here's two pics taken just now and hopefully explains a little of what I've said.

Im totally with you on how it can change it's appearance at different angles! It really is a watch that need to be seen and worn to see this effect. The angles on the indices really push this i think. I would say the dial is an oddity in that you are correct that it is not dark grey but quite often and depending on light often does look dark, then a quick wrist turn and it lightens up. It really is a stunning watch and im so happy to own one.

Brothers.
Very very very nice (and I am also viewing your watches’ pictures you posted on another thread). Not used to seeing small box for a speedy ... the Goldmaster.

Beautiful. Enjoying it?
I must admit, yes, I very much enjoy wearing and owning this watch.

I am still in the "honeymoon (shine) phase", but I can already tell that this one is going to make me very happy for a long long time... and I am not typically a yellow gold watch kind of person.

More than anything the different tones that the watch takes in various lighting, the silky feel of the chrono pushers, the beautiful movement to be seen... and the celebration of humankind achievements, keep me reaching out for this watch in the morning, or anytime.

Your photo had just cleared up a little niggle i had but as yours is exactly the same i now know it's intentional... the chrono hand tip is curved down towards the end! I thought mine had been bent but zooming in on your photo shows what i see on mine. Apologies if that's sets off any ones OCD.
