Trust me, there was no expectation that you would stop being a hypocrite when I wrote that...

And as I've explained I've been consistent all along and not remotely hypocritical, but that axe you are grinding may need sharpened in the morning.😉

I agree that your hypocrisy has been remarkably consistent. 😉

I will sleep better knowing that you disapprove.

Most buyers with full, or substantial, deposits are still patiently waiting for the call, or for any new information about the delivery schedule from their OB or AD. Those that have gotten their watches, great! But I am tired of hearing the bragging about getting multiple units and then selling them at a nice profit via other channels. I don't care if you flip your property, but why the need to keep bragging about it? And the continued tit-for-tat exchanges between a small group of people is unpleasant at best. Can't we keep this thread on the topic of who has gotten their watch?

Have to agree 100%. This is getting to the point that it detracts me from wanting to own the watch even after 100% deposit.

I'm sorry if you have interpreted the info. I posted as bragging, I can assure you that was not my intention. However with all the early photos of watches with the protective stickers still on the bracelet I rightly or wrongly took that to mean there was enough people hedging their bets on flipping for a profit. I made the public statement that I would likely be looking to flip the watch, I then asked a couple of dealers for their offers and I posted the results.
On the back of talk that the watch would be trading on or below rrp I thought this price info. would be interesting to some members and as I mentioned earlier I have been contacted by pm to ask who I sold the watch to and for how much.
Lastly from this thread I have also been contacted by a fellow member who I have helped to source a Gold 50th Anniversary watch and that watch will be delivered directly to him by the branch next month, so some may not like it, but others have found it helpful, but as we all know you can't please everyone.

It might not be a bad thing, the bracelet is the star of the show, the watch it's self is nice but fairly underwhelming compared to other Speedmasters past and present.

I just received the call that my speedy is in. Unfortunately, I will be out of the country so I won’t be able to pick it up for another 3 weeks!

I have to say, initially I was really excited about the release, but now there is some hesitation. People who have received yours, why is your opinion after owning it for awhile?

Focus on the pictures, mine with minimalist strap (more “easy to wear” everyday).

FYI I took mine at 3rd July, arrived at Omega boutique by the end of June. Mine was the second in Spain, happy for a very very low number of limited edition.

Nice photo, but photoshopped to hell, it looks nothing like it.

Not so sure that it has been heavily edited..( maybe right lighting and use of good camera not phone camera and a pro) . Here is one from Chrono24

That's a good example of how the watch looks when looking at it square on, not the best, but it comes in to it's own when the light catches the dial from an angle and the gold starts to shine, but face on it's fairly lifeless.
