I did not want the watch so why would I be jealous?
Get a grip.
There are lots of people on this forum who could not get an allocation of this watch. You had the spat with TAZ101 and have acted in the same manner.

So why spit the dummy out over something you didn't want? As for acting in the same way as TAZ101, please point to anything I've ever sold/offered on this forum that I've asked a single penny for that was not below a reasonable asking price, and there's the difference, he uses the forum to line his own pocket, I do not and never will.

So the profit you made from selling your two 50th’s will go to charity!

First of all I haven't made profit by selling two 50th Speedmasters and second you have chosen to ignore my central point in the difference between selling something I own outside of the forum, and comparing that to promoting and selling on the forum with the express intent to make a profit, but each to their own I guess.

You also chose to miss my point as well your allocations took away from others that may have wanted the watch. just like TAZ101. I was offered a watch I refused as I did not like it.

What can I say, it's a tough world out there, but you could have passed on the offer of your watch to a fellow member, did you?

You have tried to sell here with poor results as you admitted recently...

"The simple reason is I've offered a couple of watches for sale here with practically zero response, so I didn't think anything would be any different this time around"

This appears to be the primary reason you sold the first one to a dealer, and apparently will be doing the same with this one.

I have known my AD for nearly 20 years. He offered the watch as a personal favour- I am not sure how long the list was. It would not be appropriate to ‘pass on the offer’ or flip. I bought a .005 with the moon landing date which I am more than happy with.

No, that's not correct, I would not ask anyone on here to pay £10K for that watch, but the wider point remains that each time I've tried to sell here with what I thought was a reasonable asking price the item has remained unsold with the exception of a ss clasp.
Right now I have an Aqua Terra bracelet listed on the sale section at £250 inc postage and not a peep, tbh I won't lose any sleep over it if it doesn't sell, but I stand by my thoughts that OF is not really a great place to sell imo, and by my principles not to sell anything on the forum that takes the piss in terms of pricing.

So you believe that if you had asked MSRP for it here, it would have sat?

I think you guys refer to this as "taking the piss"...

Great logic.

I'm sure even you know this is not the way the world works, but I'm happy in myself that I would not be seeking to make a profit from forum members and that won't change.

So you are quite happy to profit from this, just not here, even though you taking the allocation may have prevented an OF member from getting a watch they wanted badly.

What can I say, it's a tough world out there, but you could have passed on the offer of your watch to a fellow member, did you?

You challenge others for not doing this, but you won't do the same. Okay, that certainly makes you so much more noble than TAZ...🙄

Please point out where I have looked to profit from the membership here, if you can't\won't see the difference I can't help you.

To each his own. Nice but nothing more than that. And there are so many nice watches that if I buy each one i will need British Museum premises to have them stored. ::psy::

I will take that as confirmation that you have nothing further to add or counter what I have said.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good watch, but when the hype is stripped away it's imo at least not as good a watch as the ti Co-axial Speedy.

You're not asking anybody here to pay you 10k but the person who can't get it at retail because instead of giving the next guy on the list a chance results him/her to look on the grey market. It's one thing to resell a second time don't post about it here.🤨
