Anyone thinking these are going to be below retail is either salty at missing out or seriously misguided.

You can’t compare it to the Trilogy Speedy as that watch is very wis orientated, has no mission history and lacks the
Speedy Pro case. A nicely executed piece but lacks mainstream appeal.

The London boutiques alone have a combined reserve wait list of 350 for the 50th.

This is the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, not the 35th or the 20th or the 45th. It’s a piece with an amazing achievement to celebrate.

When a cooking Rolex Submariner 116600 is booking at £10,000 at greys in the Uk, this stands out as a bargain.

Let’s get back to the watch itself; it’s a thing of beauty, with an excellent bracelet and it needs to be worn...

Everything else, including resale value, complementary pens and pins (both there) and packaging are not as relevant as liking the watch itself in the metal and enjoying it.

Perhaps this helps... even a terrible photographer can make this look nice. 😀

Beautiful, this really shows the subtle gold highlights amazingly. What a watch !!

I agree: the watch is a thing of beauty and you are a terrible photographer.

Picked mine up today, high hundreds serial number. The picture was taken in the OB, hopefully I'll get a better one soon.

On it’s first holiday since pickup 2 weeks before the anniversary in early July.

Although I’m using a sub and a black bay for the beach. Wanted to keep it pristine but it picked up its first case lug dink... against my wife’s dj 🙄

Just wish it had the quick adjust bracelet like the 60th anniversary speedmaster. Good for hot and cold environments

Mine SS was delivered on July 19th - so actually exactly 50 years after they were up in space back in 1969 on their way to the moon. Its number is around 1500. I like it a lot and I wear it every day. Only today I discovered a flaw visible with the naked eye on the minute dial: compare the number 2 in „20“ with the 2 in“12“ on the hour dial. I haven‘t decided yet on complaining or not: the flaw makes the watch kind of unique, on the other hand, it IS a flaw.... Anyone else with such printing flaws on the new anniversary watch?
I have a unique dial flaw on my Seamaster Spectre which under a loupe has a very lumpy patch of paint on the silver Omega logo. Not really visible with the naked eye, but looks rough under magnification. As you say, I don’t mind as it’s unique to my watch. The fact you’ve spotted it just shows your getting to know your watch intimately!

Do the watches come off the 'line' in numerical order or is there an element of flex/randomness in it?
Most !imited editions are released randomly, it just depends on how the assembly is set up. Multiple assembly lines, timing, scheduling issues, etc. No idea if this applies to Omega for this watch. I wouldn't assume they are coming out in numerical order.

It's taken a couple of days but I've decided that 50th Anni is not the Speedmaster for me. Earlier this week bought this titanium Co-axial and conclusions are that the size, colour and strap combo wins out for me.

I've sent an email to the same dealer who took my first watch to see what they offer. I will report back with the findings.

Maybe try a third one!

Three strikes and you're out! Saying that there's the chance of another one being available should I want it but nice as it is I'm over this version and looking forward to next years Snoopy 2.

Not a lot of difference between you and TAZ101. Hope you report your profits to HMRC.

I did not want the watch so why would I be jealous?
Get a grip.
There are lots of people on this forum who could not get an allocation of this watch. You had the spat with TAZ101 and have acted in the same manner.

Oh... here we go again... Let me echo my earlier post, perhaps that helps.

Let’s get back to the watch itself; it’s a thing of beauty, with an excellent bracelet and it needs to be worn...

Everything else, including resale value, complementary pens and pins (both there) and packaging are not as relevant as liking the watch itself in the metal and enjoying it.

Also, I promise to take better pictures and upload these, soon.
