Well done, you seem to be one of the first to manage to get hold of one of these! How did you manage it?!

Well the money finally landed in my account today and I picked up my 2nd and final 50th Anniversary, stickers removed and without a doubt a keeper.

Just asked and got lucky. I have seen a few on eBay go for crazy money, so I feel lucky to get two sizes. I am absolutelly keeping them both

Yes, very lucky! I've asked at a couple of boutiques but not joy so far, perhaps once the 50th celebrations are over they will be happy to let them go!

Do the watches come off the 'line' in numerical order or is there an element of flex/randomness in it?

just picked mine up! Torn on whether to part with it since I think my 74 speedy would still be my daily wear

Let’s get back to the watch itself; it’s a thing of beauty, with an excellent bracelet and it needs to be worn...

Everything else, including resale value, complementary pens and pins (both there) and packaging are not as relevant as liking the watch itself in the metal and enjoying it.

Perhaps this helps... even a terrible photographer can make this look nice. :)

I think it will be high for some time to come, dealers are paying £10,000 for these and selling them for a lot more.

I agree with all of the above but still haven't made or seen a photo which shows it's true beauty in the metal.
