That's what I feared given the high production run for an LE.

My Moon to Mars was numbered more than 6000 . Didn’t stop them from being sought at good % higher than MSRP

Yes I don't dispute that, same as Spectre, what I feel is sad will be potentially hundreds of these all over ebay and Chrono 24 to try and make a quick couple of thousand $ or £ when people should just be enjoying the watch and the significant event it celebrates.

The one with the 3 planets? That was available at a discount for years! It’s probably still in stock at a dealer somewhere. Asking prices and prices achieved can vary significantly...

That’s the one (actually it is 2 planets earth, mars and 1 moon )... saw it 13 years ago first time, went and bought something else triple date omega...then lo and behold found one brand new at an OB 3 years ago after all these years, and I grabbed it (and it was my wife’s birthday that day - instead of just buying a present for her I got something for myself). If you go to Omega website, it says it is discontinued..so if new stocks still exist it is going to be pretty incredible

Looks like all flippers were non - Americans. Would presumably be blasted if they were (lack of patriotism). So that should reduce the flicking colony. If you observed the viewership on each of them, they run into the many hundreds over 2 days and easily wins the popularity contest

Flippers like to get in before the pool is full.
The ST1 and Ultramen started strong and went back down after more were released.
With more than 2012 the flippers will be flooded out soon

I don't think so, we do not know how many are already out there delivered. In addition, 3/5 on chrono24 are not in stock. I do think that the price will rise in the near future as this watch is attracting so many people outside the Speedy world.

I reserved a watch back in March (via boutique) and received a call yesterday the watch has arrived. I am very excited to have/wear next week for the 50th anniversary celebration!

I met @Threemann last night. Great evening listening to astronaut Charles Duke.

There is no basis for anyone to come to any conclusion about how many will be flipped, or the prices going forward. There has been only a trickle so far but at least they are coming out and being delivered.

Make no bones about it, if there's a tidy profit to be had mine will be off to Watchfinder before you could say Buzz Aldrin.
