Yeah, likewise. Maybe the few were delivered to whip up the fervour and get everyone excited/taking about it.

    It’s definitely worked!

I'm sure that by September there will be a couple out there with the protective stickers removed, bracelet sized and people actually wearing the damn things, but maybe not.

Assuming I like it in the metal, one will be mine!

Good for you. There's a fair bit of nervous excitement around the watch at the moment regarding it's "hot watch" status and potential profit making ability.

I know, but it’s just the nature of these things at the moment. If I like it I will buy it and wear it, if I don’t then I’ll pass and let someone else have one at retail.

I’m just pleased to be in the queue for once rather than having missed the boat.

You have to be in it to win it! Very much looking forward to the gold and stainless steel pieces arriving here. :)

But won't be selling before anyone asks.

As a lucky purchaser of both, have you asked if there is any possibility of you getting the same number for both pieces? That would really be something.

Do you know, that never crossed my mind. So, no, I haven't done that. I know that it was incredibly difficult to get the gold piece allocated but I did badger my Omega AD for about 5 years about it (and bought other stuff in the meantime). (And when I say 'about it', the conversation was basically 'whatever they do to mark the anniversary I will buy it' - clearly no-one knew about what they were going to produce although his predictions were pretty close).

Might be worth asking the question if it interests you. I’m sure the fact you are spending a considerable sum would at least get them to ask a few questions and considering so few watches are in the wild I can’t imagine it would be too difficult to make happen.

With 5 of these for sale on Chrono 24 and not many actually being sent out yet looks like there will be more flippers than in a seal colony.
