How much was it up for
It looks like they say they can source one rather than having one in stock
They did offer me that.
But I’m not selling
I just wanted to know what I could get.
Surprisingly another place offered me £500.00 less than retail so now I don’t know what to think
I do get your point. But honestly, I do enjoy that part of my hobby. I like to talk about the development and prices. For me this particular piece is stunning. I am a big Omega fan but not in particular a fan off the Speedmaster. A collector friend of mine did show me this reference and I have to say this watch is really beautiful. In addition, I did show the watch to some friends which are not into watches, and they were all amazed. I think that this watch is attracting a lot of non typical Speedy buyers, because the look is really stunning and exclusive. In Germany, they were all sold out way before. Some ADs told me that people started to get on the list 3-4 years ago without even knowing what is coming for the 50th anniversary. I talked to Omega and in Germany about 160 should be allocated.
I’m picking one up today but it is ironic that uk are getting them before the USA.
After all it was one of America’s greatest achievements in history.
This is a really odd release. Of everyone that has theirs, I think only 2 people have taken wrist shots without the stickers on. The omega part of the Rolex forums has no recipients outside of @Bp1000. There’s a general lack of excitement on here. I appreciate that we are a small part of the watch population, but I’d have wagered we’d have had a few more with the initial dump of watches.
There’s even very little on Instagram which is where many post these new shiny things when they receive them.
I’m assuming that very few watches have been actually delivered and then nothing since? I was expecting a steady flow of new owners showing off their new purchases.....

Looks great even with the protective plastic stickers on it.
Its awaiting price. It's in staging before they get the photos and price up online.
