Yes iv bought a lot off them tags Tudors omegas etc may be why I was one of the first to receive mine. I do have good rapport with all the staff and unlike Rolex dealerships I find them very appreciative of my business.
Well, if the seller did pretend that it is the most important watch since the original just to trigger buyers' interest, then yes, I don't see any reason why @padders and others should stay silent.
This is not your regular yellow or pink gold but poor lighting makes it look a bit more subtle than it is. This one was taken in slightly better light:
Nicely done. Did you order very early on from Omega Martin Place? Their staff seems to be a tad ‘average’ at times. Did you score a sweet shirt as well? What number did you get?
While I'm due to get one of these I need to say the photos are not really doing it for me. Unless it's totally different on the wrist I will either pass or flip it if there's a profit to be had.
Watch out for seller's remorse. Even if it is a watch with a face only its maker could love (not saying that it is - far from it), with an occasion like this, it got to be a keeper not a flipper.. Of course, to each his (or her) own destiny ..
It IS the most important watch since the original in my OPINION and I stand by that but my comments are PUMPING like somehow my comments will singlehandingly affect the market value of this watch hahaha - everyone else is allowed to flip it like stufflers mom hypercritical twaddle
If the watch 'IS the most important watch since the original', why didn't you keep it instead of selling it?
Ahhh...we don't need to get into this again. Let's just enjoy the watch and watch for updates on who is getting them around the world!
Yea your right actually. I'm done and with my pumped up flip profit will be buying the new blue diver 300 which I will be showing off on another thread which I will be KEEPING
In line with what I was told last weekend by OB in St Louis, some watches arriving in next few weeks. Parcelled out on First PAID, first served basis.
My apologies, yes you are right we should be celebrating the arrival of the 50th Anniversary watches and not rising to the bait thrown out by the flipper and fuelling his ego. Sorry I won't do it again.
I have to say, I’m with you on this. I like the watch, but as yet am not bowled over (one of the reasons I keep asking for shots). I’ve never been a successful flipper so will just pass if it doesn’t do it for me in the metal, although I’m hopeful I will be surprised.
I am sorry if I have offended you and I am more than happy to move on, but are you? It was your comment 'It IS the most important watch since the original in my OPINION' that started this process again not mine. A comment made by an OF member who had 'the watch' in his possession, possibly one of the first anniversary watches out there, but the watch was so important that it had to be sold immediately. So if you want to know why the subject is being raised may I respectfully suggest that you go and look in a mirror. Now if you have finished making these inane comments we can all go back to enjoying the unveiling of the 50th Anniversary watches by those OF members who are lucky enough to own one. Cheers, enjoy your day
