That looks great. I wear mine a lot with the speedy Tuesday brown leather which I like a lot. Grey looks great however. Where did you get the strap from (I’m in U.K.) I may purchase a grey alligator or something similar and maybe a black strap to compete the looks.
that is from combat-straps.com, as I have this one too I have 2 others from him and one on the way, he's is my preferred supplier.
That looks nice as well, does the scrap go behind the watch as well ? If so, does it not scratch the back ?
yes goes behind the watch, it's comfy as f... Edit: I thought you meant whether it scratches me. The velcro is all along the strap so covers the caseback. Haven't noticed any scratches.
I have nine Speedmasters, the only one on a metal bracelet is the Apollo 11 50th, it just feels right with that new, thin bracelet. But choice is good.
I have just one Speedmaster and agree the metal bracelet is great but the velcro for summer and alcantara for winter is for now my strap rotation.
Hi, some marks and scratches are going to make the watch your unique piece... I love my individual daily rocker showing some wear! BR Hans
I agree with you - I do think it looks best on bracelet but I don’t have that many watches so like to change the look up for a little variety (and try to preserve the clasp a little as I continue to desk dive at home)...
I have the opportunity to pick one of these up from my local AD this morning This would be my first Omega Are these still a sought after short supply Omega?
Isn’t more the question whether you like it or not - whether it’s sought after etc is a moot point if you do. If it’s will it hold its value, then they seem to be staying above rrp at present yes but who knows whether that will be the case in the longer term. I think they will due to the upgrades over most of the others (movement, ceramic, sapphire, gold, bracelet) but who knows.
For anyone who would like the matching home to go with their beautiful 50th anniversary watch . . . https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1003-Woodland-Dr-El-Lago-TX-77586/28087348_zpid/
$350k doesn't even buy you a crappy condo in the DC area anymore. New townhouses routinely start in the $650k range. Once you get away from the cities prices can drop quickly, but close-in suburbs and urban areas are $$$.
