Here's hoping for a slimmer "Shallow Waters" version. 600M of WR - how deep would you want it to go?

28m? Wow that is thick! 馃槈

Yeah, just edited馃槈

So, is it now official the deepest what any wrist watch has done?

I like the blue touches on the dial and in general the color scheme. However, even as a big Panerai fan, the shear thickness of this thing makes me flinch.

I always liked these attempts at breaking records. It shows how far you can go with a mechanical watch. But maybe I'm just a victim of Omega's marketing campaigns 馃榿

Would also love to see one of these monsters on a wrist.

Indeed in 2019 retired US naval officer Victor Vescovo aboard a Triton Hadal submarine followed in the footsteps of 2012 Canadian film director James Cameron's dive aboard Deepsea Challenger...
IMHO it's nice to see a Seamaster without its toothpaste cap styled He valve and without the busy wavy pattern on the dial...

Hi all,

Well at least now we know why Daniel Craig has been spending so much time in the gym as obviously this is the next Bond watch as I'm sure it will fit perfectly under the cuff of his dress shirt whilst wearing a Tux.

OK so it's technically a great achievement but I wonder just how many would actually buy and wear this thing anyone prepared to guess the RRP on this?

Would it fit under a sleeve?

Is it a dress watch without the date 馃槙

Since this thing is rated water resistant 15.000m , i woul expect a smaller version of this (and more wearable ) rated 6000m.

It might just remain a prototype or an exetremely limited LE.

I think its the equivalent of the DEEPSEA Challenge

If this is Omega's response to Rolex's marketing stunt with James Cameron, it seems rather derivative and seven years too late...

"Derivative" is the right word. It's little more than a bloated publicity stunt. Kind of sad.

Disagree. This has been an informal competition between Seiko, Rolex, and Omega for years.

It鈥檚 like making the fastest road going car to watch makers. Are they practical? No, they are engineering art. The only difference is this matters to way less people.

I like it. Won't buy one, but I really like it.
