Try getting that sucker pressure tested. 1000m is hard enough for me to get done in Australia

This might be one for @Archer

How hard would it be to pressure test a 3900m watch ?

No idea - my high pressure test equipment tops out at 125 bar, so approx. 1250 meters.

I'm not sure why anyone needs a watch that will go far below a depth that would crush a person, but there's a lot of things in the watch world that make no sense...

In this hobby it is a struggle to find something that makes just a little sense!

Hmm, I'm not too sure I'm that keen on this new teaser piece. From what I can see, it looks a little bit too retro for me. But I could be proven wrong when the full reveal has been done.

I'll keep a close eye on this as I'm feeling the need to replace both my PO and SMP I just moved on!

Looks much better than I thought. In a nice in the box but not on my wrist kind of way.

Love the blue.

What a beast!

The Planet Ocean dial with no date and the touches of blue is lovely.

So next time you go saturation diving in the Marianas Trench, you will be covered if you are wearing this on your wrist 🙄

If they stuck to the same colour scheme (incl. that strap) and made it relatively thin, I think that would make it a really popular choice. Slip in a nice 2500 co-axial movement from the Omega parts bin and boom!

Either that or I'd need to eat a ton of pies to get a forearm that could handle a 28mm thick watch.

I think its the equivalent of the DEEPSEA Challenge

Bests the depth rating on that by 3000m and the looks by at least 1000%. I will never not think that Rolex is gauche with the ridiculous "DEEPSEA CHALLENGE RINGLOCK SYSTEM" displayed so prominently.

Is that a metaphor?

Remarkably hideous. I suspect it’s more of a technical/engineering statement for Omega.
