    Hello,
So i just recieved my first vintage omega, and once i went to set the time i realized that in order to set the time forward i must turn the crown backwards. Something i have never ran into in another watch. This omega has the 564 movement. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Daniel Fernandez

I just did a quick run through of a dozen or so watches in my collection, including several Omegas with movements in the 56x series of calibers. Hand setting on all of these is as you described. Turn the crown counter-clockwise to move the hands clockwise. With only one exception. My Speedmaster Professional. With that one, to turn the hands clockwise, the crown must be turned clockwise! You say, “something you have never ran [run] into in another watch.” I suggest that you check out a number of watches other than your Omega 564, and report back. ::popcorn::
