omega 3513.50 rattling

My omega 3513.50 started making a rattling noise when I shake it. It never did this before - last wore it about a month ago. I bought it used about 6 months ago, has not had issues. The only recent change I made was changed out the bracelet/straps, but obviously did not go into the watch case.

Thoughts? Do I really have to spend the $$/time to send to omega?
Based in Philadelphia.
TIA

How long before you bought it did it get it's last service?

Probably time for a service is my guess.

Can it be any watchmaker or do I have to send it to Omega?

I don't think we can guess why it is rattling. If you are able, why not open it up and take a look. Maybe there will be something obvious that is loose, like a missing case screw or something.

IIRC, these have a Valjoux 7750 style movement, so most watchmakers would be very familiar with it.

Maybe the OP is just now discovering the Valjoux wobble? Because a perfectly working 7750 will make a “rattling” noise if the rotor gets moving in the non-winding direction.

If the rattle sounds like something hitting the case back on the inside, it may be a worn bearing in the rotor for the automatic winding system.
