Hi, No its more like 37.5 without the crown. Very large for its time I think!!!

JohnLy, do you wear the watch or does it spend more time in the watch case? I like the look of it with the large plain arabic numerals. It is a nice simple piece. I wonder if I would wear it since it is so old. Maybe I'm too cautious.

I try to wear all my watches, though I am very cautious especially around counter tops and doors...
