Hi All
This is my first dip in to the world of Forums... I have had the Omega for 25 years now, it belonged to my grandad and although I have found information about the the watch and case I cannot find anything about the storage box, it is a display case leather bound and displays the watch so it can be used when not worn.
Any information would be appreciated. I have attached photos.

Wow, welcome to the forum, this looks like a beautiful watch from the late 1940s, based on the style of the dial and case it looks like it could be 1947-1949,
And that beautiful pigskin leather box looks to be original from exactly the same period. Pigskin was a relatively strong and affordable leather which was used a lot for watch straps at the time.

Best regards

Pleasure- I doubt you can find more info about the box except what I’ve already indicated, which is all collectors would want to know.

This is a lovely watch. My 1949 9k Dennison says hi. Yours is the tail end of the 30T2 and mine is one of the first 260 calibre which is essentially the same movement. I have long admired the case style that you have - a great set indeed!
