Looks like an honest nice little gem. They are quite small, like 31-32 mm correct?
Wouldn't care so much about the crews as mentioned above.
Enjoy it..

Sorry original question was Franken watch only.

One reviewer noted minor issues without mention.

Don mentioned movement screws with
picture.

I raised question about blued screws in 1940s (to Achim) although there is only one that I can see. It is purple. Sensor issue?

Crown by this forum is not original.

Nonetheless it is a very attractive piece as is. If happy with it and keeps good time great. If serviced can be brought to period correct or not.

So, we talk about buying/not buying / liking/not liking a watch, because 2 case screws a' $ 5 should be replaced? What happened to reality? Kind regards. Achim

Heh, I already bought the watch. I like it regardless of two minor imperfections (that being the crown and possibly the case screws). The first one is easily fixed, the second one isn't even seen when I'm wearing the watch.

I'll be honest: I bought the watch for those hands, and the dial. They look amazing to me. A close second is the history of the 30 T2 series of movements.

Seller measured and it's 33.5mm w/o crown. And I do agree with the screws.... when I'm wearing it, I think the last thing I'll be thinking about will be regarding what color my movement retainer screws are.

Got the watch in yesterday. I have to say, this is possibly one of the most beautiful watches I’ve owned, and I think it was worth the $700 I paid (even if that is slightly over valuation some members here gave me).

Here’s a picture and an easter-egg shoutout to @gatorcpa :

I’m taking it in to my watchmaker on Monday, but I have opened it up and examined the movement. Don’t have a picture but it looks pretty good, but I’ll be getting it serviced anyways. Thanks for the help y’all!

edit: Also, I have some legit Phoenix NATO straps on the way. I really think this is going to look good on the traditional RAF-gray strap. I know some people here hate NATO straps but I digress, I love them.

Nice! Big game in about 30 minutes.

Not a fan of NATO straps because of long term damage to casebacks. That watch has seen a lot in 80 years. Why not give it a break?

Don't worry. NATO is fine for that stainless case. Enjoy and explore more military omegas ! Kind regards. Achim

That’s a good point!

Also a good point!

Go Gators, once again thank you all for your help. Haven’t steered me in the wrong direction yet!

Love it. Beautiful example.

@gatorcpa what do you think about our defense? I think Grantham needs to go (not to derail the thread but since I have you...) 😡🤬

I was just thinking about this as I'm unfamiliar with the Denison re-cased Omega examples... Is it normal for "swiss made" to be missing from the dial? I'm learning myself up as we speak, but figured I'd ask.

It is normal not to have Swiss Made on dial when your 30T2 movement has serial number in 10 million range.
There are some exceptions like the 2179's

Thanks for your help. So my movement is in the 9,8**,*** range (you can see the serial on the first page). I assume that is within the variance you're referring to?

I should have been clearer by saying 10 million and earlier. 👍
30t2, t1 and 30, too.

I don’t think the coach is necessarily the problem. He did a nice job last year when he had NFL caliber talent on the defensive line. Those guys are gone now and haven’t really been replaced.

Look what Ole Miss is doing to Alabama right now. It’s 42-42 with 11 minutes left in the game. Many of today’s college games have basketball scores (56-45, 41-38, 45-41, etc.). I think that is because of practice time missed due to COVID.

Not ready to bail on coaches yet.

Hoi, which reference is yours? Diameter? Your dial with that writing and logo seems weird..... Kind regards. Achim
