I just recently purchased this lovely Omega pocket watch and was hoping for some information such as the approximate date and model number. It does require servicing and mainspring but otherwise appears to be in good condition. My watchmaker is going to get going on it sometime in the near future. Would 1906 be about correct for the year based on the serial number on the back?

Thanks DD12 and Gav.
I suppose we'll have to measure the broken mainspring and look for the closest size to replace it. Any thoughts on that?

Very clean piece all around! Interesting the fifth seconds numbering, does anybody have knowledge of what purpose the numbering provides? If the chrono is stopped at 3 minutes and the chrono hand on the 28th hash, it clearly timed at 3m 5 & 3/5 seconds or 3m 5.6 seconds. I'm at a loss as to how the 15, 20, 25,...300 clarifies anything.
