·For sale is an Omega ref 2996 transformed Ranchero produced in 1958 or also referred to as "Seachero", which is basically an Ranchero with a Seamaster dial. Can be read more here for example: https://omegaforums.net/threads/the-transformed-rancheros.16487/#post-374759
The ref 2996 is the centrum-second version of the 2990 Ranchero, case is 36mm excluding crown.
Case looks fairly good and well preserved but I have a hard time to judge for sure since these have a round profile originally, some small scratches and dents are visible. Crown looks to be original (compared to the others I've found) but has no visible logo, either its been worn off or its a replacement.
Cream-white dial which have some spots and patina, gold furniture and beautiful aged lume (some is lost at the minute hand). There is a small crack in the glass at 2 o'clock only visible from the side, and some light scratches that easily can be polished if preferred.
Manual 284 movement that looks very clean, keeps good time and with strong power reserve but no known service history.
Price: 700EUR 1100EUR head only net to me by paypal or bankwire. I’m located in Sweden.

(Tried to show pictures in various lights since the dial shows a bit different - low light, bright daylight and sunlight.)
