    Dear all

As I was able to spend more time at home I had the time to take a few pictures and introduce further pieces in my collection.

The purpose of my posts is to present my collection and hear any comments from the esteemed forum members regarding my watches, in most cases I did my research before buying but in some cases I found myself with not enough background to make an informed decision and I pulled the trigger anyways, which is what I did with this piece, I tried to look for info around the forum on this particular reference but couldn’t find much about it.

    Ref. 2543-1
Movement is a cal 231 with serial 12mln, which according to the tables makes it a ‘50s Watch.
Dial condition: I would say with some patina, siringe hands, lume in the minute hand is different from the one on the hour hands, not sure if previous owners relumed just one of the two hands (I have no info of past services)
    Size: 30mm
Case looks in fair condition, I still don’t have the best eye, certainly the edges aren’t the sharpest but can’t tell the degree of polishing.
Caseback is blank but the internal markings make me think it’s original.
Crown: not sure about this, looks correct but I would be happy to hear your thoughts.

    Any comment is much appreciated,
    Thanks,
    Duccio

Is the caseback snap or screwdown?

Yeah, looked like that. I asked because I would have expected a snap caseback.
