·Hi OF!
Here is for sale Omega 2169 2 cal. 30T2 from 1944 according to serial number 10049248. The watch is made of stainless steel. Black dial looks like military one, but as to my knowledge – this model is issued for civilians. For sale is the watch with 2 straps.
The case is made of stainless steel, has size 35mm without the crown. The case is unpolished – still has original sharp brushed edges, no deep scratches or dings.
Movement is manual wind Omega cal. 30T2, keeps time around -11 sec/day. Movement is recently serviced in January 2021.
Crown is authentic not signed Omega.
Caseback is stainless steel, unsigned.
Crystal is domed acrylic, has no blemishes.
The dial is fully authentic, not restored or repainted. Black matte dial has radium filled arabic numerals changed their color through ages – under UV light lume color matches with faded lume on syringe hands, please see pics in album.
Two straps: first one green NATO 18mm strap, second one is bonklip style old fashioned steel bracelet, unworn.
The watch is in marvelous condition and it looks beautiful on both straps. Not much info about ref. 2169 on the net, but some sources state that this is pretty rare model. I found it locally and wanted to add to my own collection, but I just can't wear it as much as I would like.
Price is $1830 through PayPal Friends and Family (or $1920 through G&S). DHL Express International Shipping is included in price (2-5 working days). I ship international from Chisinau, Moldova.
Haven't sold watches here on OF yet, but I had 2 transactions with OF members selling bracelets:
