    Hello,

I have recently bought several watches and have to sell a few to balance. So I would like to offer you this particular Omega cal. 30T2 SC. It has a 18k solid gold case. Diameter 3,65 cm not including the crown.

This watch looks nice but there are some questions and issues as per the collectible value. So please read carefully the following remarks.

I bought it several years ago to the familly first owner. All they knew was it came with a solid gold band that had previously been sold, and that it had probably been bought at the frontier between Switzerland and France. When I bought it, the pics I had were blury. When I discovered the watch, I liked very much the case, less the dial as I thought it was a redial. Thus I tried to find a close genuine dial from the same period and the correct size, which I finally did. So this watch has a genuine not repainted dial, but it is a replacement.

Another question is the origine of the case. I aknowledge I have not complete my research here. I garanty it is 18K gold (I had the watch tested when I received it as I did not recognized the hallmark). But I do not know which maker did it and I am not sur of the country.

Thus, it is not really a collectible item. But it is a nice watch, with a strong presence on the wrist! (If it was not too big for me, I would definetly keep it!).

I serviced the watch several years ago (see here : https://omegaforums.net/threads/playing-watchmakers.44781/page-2), and again a couple of months ago. "Serviced" means the watch has been fully taken apart, cleaned, oiled and regulated. But please notice that I am not a professional watchmaker, just a « decent amateur » that enjoys servicing his watches and friends’ ones. Although, I always test my work on the timegrapher (over 6 positions) and start again if there is anything wrong. The watch is currently working very decently for a watch of that age, with a correct timekeeping though the amplitude is a bit low (250-255 in dial up and dial down positions).

I guess it is not necessarily the kind of watch poeple intend to find here, but I thought maybe someone (with big wrists!) could be interested!

For the watch, I ask 650 euros. Paypal is okay for established members. Head only: the band and the buckle are not part of the deal. The shippinp costs are on me.

    Cheers,
    François
