I have another 1998/849 bracelet up for trade. It has (I believe) all links - it fits my 7.25" wrist with ample wiggle room and has an additional link as well. Since originally posting this, I have added one link to the bracelet and adjusted the clasp to being in the tighter position. In the heat, with its current length, it rarely gets too tight on my wrist, but not so tight that I can't close the clasp. I'd imagine that, with the additional link installed and the clasp adjusted, this could fit a 7.5" wrist, even in the heat - but I can't guarantee. Everyone's wrists expand and contract differently.
It is in good condition - it has no significant dents or scratches, and has negligible bend from side to side.
I recently brushed it with a Scotch Brite pad to restore a similar finish to what it had from the factory. It looks pretty darn good at the moment - the brushing was able to remove all small scratches. The polished sides have gentle scuffing, but nothing serious.
Overall, this band is probably in 8.25-8.5/10 condition, or around TZ 94%.
I've been looking for a 1498/840 or a 1499/849 bracelet for a while with absolutely no luck. If anyone is interested in a trade (I'm fine doing a straight up trade, but the person on the other end must cover shipping fees for both parties due to value discrepancies), please PM me or email me at [email protected]
