Did you know that there is a map somewhere on OF (Google Maps based) that shows approx were members are located. Sorry I can't remember the link though.

·I've never seen that map function. It might be nice if we could post a location on our profile pages. I wonder if we could just make like a Google sheet that would reside at that link for people to self report an OF handle, trilogy model, series number, state/province where it resides. I'd be happy to create such a thing, but posting it would be beyond my skill set!

Hmmm. Interesting. I'm too old to figure out how to drop a pin! It's a pity that there isn't a way to just add a city location to one's profile. The map is interesting, but given that it's voluntary and complicated for men of a certain age, it's not a comprehensive listing of all the members.

Then you need to click on the black box with three white stripes
A menu will pop up. Click on the Add option
Enter you OF user name, choose a marker colour and enter an address that is meaningful for you but NOT your home address (don't want to attract the wrong attention), then scroll down and click submit.
Pretty easy really.

nope. doesn't do a damn thing... yet. but thats because i just started working on it yesterday.
i was sketching out some ideas for it and was thinking.. just a full list of all the serials. and if you own one of them there will be a way to 'claim' a number (submit a photo or proof or something) and then it will show as claimed. with maybe the city that watch is in but no more personal information than that.

·Yesterday talking to some of the Omega people, I got the impression that some of the LE pieces were in the safe. They would not show them because they were all spoken for and awaiting pickup. This was in Miami.
