Lies! LIES!! They are all LIES!!!!

 

My AD called today to say they're refunding my deposit. They thought they were getting two but had it confirmed there would only be one.

I was annoyed of course but there's worse things. This was a store in Liverpool, England and it was the Speedy I had reserved with them.

 

You can still reserve at the 5th

Reserve through an OB they still have availability

 

That's very disappointing to hear, and my fear too, especially since I gave up an Australian allocation I was offered after I had already paid the deposit for my UK allocated watch.

 

Trilogy sets all gone over here in south East Asian region .. but there some boutiques still offering bookings for the LEs.. though only for the railmasters

 

My AD had to return a £10k deposit on a trilogy set when their allocation of one was taken away, (see post 8/6/17). I have a Speedy reserved with a £1k deposit, it is one of two allocated to this AD across two shops. I missed out on the Speedy Tuesday and was pleased to get in early on the 60th, which I actually prefer, however I hope these cancelled allocations do not become a trend.
Call me a cynic but it seems odd that allocations are apparently still available at OB's.

Have they only just been told of the cut, or have they delayed calling you?

 

Interesting that ADs are requesting deposits. The OBs just puts your name on the list. Whether that confirms getting one or not [emoji848]

My OB required I put a full deposit down to reserve. Im in the US though... your miles may vary

 

So is the latest word basically late August from the OB?

 

I spoke with my OB yesterday. They were very confident that the orders would begin to arrive in mid to late August. Who knows though...

That isn't my experience! The OB's in Chicago, Hong Kong and Atlanta all wanted 20% to demonstrate one's earnestness!

 

All three available in Chicago OB and it's a nice city to visit! Bring your lady! Make a vacay of it!

 

I stopped by the Bellevue, WA OB, and they still have all three singles available, and one of the Trilogy sets left...

 

Refering to instagram, it looks like the first Railmaster has been delivered today...
