·Just for fun, and for a bit of 1950's ambience, here is a scan of an advert I have just purchased from an eBay seller in France.
It is from an issue of "Plaisir de France" in 1951, and seems to be celebrating the fact that Omega had just got 1,000 movements chronometer certified by the BO at Bienne, with the added bonus of "particularly good results". Great style!
