Does the watch have a Danish provenance? Unless our old pal Wikipedia is steering me wrong, Chevron Oil A/S would be a Danish subsidiary, yes?

The name on the back has a germanic resonance so it makes sense. Im guessing the watch changed hands a few times before.

It took me a year to be reunited with this watch.
My watchmaker serviced it in a month but the watch got stuck with him as I did not travel to pick it up.

Finally, it’s with me now.

Could be Norwegian as well. 1970 coincides with the start of the Norwegian oil boom. Funny, I think I've seen this watch before, kind of remember seeing a watch presented to an employee of Chevron Oil A/S years ago.

I am not sure but the watch is presented in 1970 to someone who worked there for 30 years. So, the person started in 1940...
Name is germanic...

Could be both, "A/S" is a name for a stock-based company in Norway and in Denmark. Chevron was present on both those markets, tho Norway always was the "bigger pie" in the gas&oil industry.

Anyway, I don't know much about vintage Constellations, but this is a beautiful watch, congrats OP.
