Omega 166.032 - another impulse purchase!

I also bought this Omega 166.032 last night on impulse. I owned one of these many years ago and I rather stupidly sold it. This turned up last night on yahoo with a matter of moments left, so I placed a bid and I wasnt outbid and won.

At first I thought it was the standard Omega 166.032 with the plain dial, but I do believe this is the sparkle dial?

Also I was bummed it was on what looked like a rubbish 1980's digital watch bracelet, but its actually a 1960's IWC mesh bracelet. The last one sold for $600USD on ebay! I only paid $400USD for the watch, so I think it might end up being free if I can sell the bracelet.

What do you guys think, does it look ok? This seems to be the Japanese non-lume version.

I think you'll find that those bracelets actually sell for $100-$150, but you still got a good deal. 馃憤

Awesome, considering it was going in the bin and I only saw the IWC logo after I had won, yeah any money back is good money 馃榿

At 400 dollar, that would be a no-brainer in my book. Great looking watch with the nice sunburst finish still clearly visible on front.

Hi, I believe from what I have seen elsewhere, the trap is 18mm.
Thanks regarding the link, I will be sure to post some photos once the watch arrives.
Congrats on the watch and welcome to the forum.
Looks to me like that bracelet on Ebay is not sold, but offered for 600- and Ebay is full of overpriced items which do not sell because they鈥檙e overpriced.

Hi, I just used that pic as its the only one similar to the bracelet on my watch, perhaps the same. Yes there was a completed auction for $150, so thats good, it will go towards the service.

Hi, I believe from what I have seen elsewhere, the (s)trap is 18mm.
Just wondered, because in the photos I'm seeing a visible gap between strap and lug. All will be revealed when it arrives, I guess. Welcome aboard the OF express!
