·I have posted this in wanting to buy but also posting here for incase someone has some knowledge to share on the subject of repairing cases worn out by the ever-popular watch bracelets of yester-year that utilized spring loaded ends. They sure have done their fair share of damage.

I have tried filling these in the past with a laser welder to no avail. While laser welders work great on stainless steel, silver and gold, they (our laser welder) don't work great on brass and some other base metals. Has anyone come across a good jeweller who was able to fill and ended up with a nice looking finished product?
