·Hi, I'm new in the hobby of repairing watches since ~1 1/2 year and also new on this forum.
I serviced some mechanical which all work again.
But now I have a Omega de Ville Quartz BA 196.2379 with a 1379 / ETA 210.011 caliber.
It is not running and I found out that the coil on the electronic part is damaged (picture).
I sent it to a repair company but after soldering I still measure no resistance.
In the meantime I found on Internet a new unused 210.001-4000 electronic.
But when mounted the caliber gives no beep when testing.
The wheels do run when testing in the mechanic part of the tester.
Any suggestion what can be the problem here?
Does a 1379/210.011 normaly run with a 210.001 electronic
Thanks for any help.
