I have a 1039 bracelet for sale. It has 21 links of those 9 are stretchlinks.and aftermarket endlinks. In very good condition and the flexlinks works just fine. I want $550 including postage. Paypal is ok. I have lot of references from Swedish watchforums and I guess some people here would vouch for me also.

cheers

Is it made out of solid 14k gold?
>$500
>$1200 on ebay
That's to me just... insane
Omega is not a Patek, and it's just a band! These arbitrary prices are insane

1039 bracelets are for pre-moon Speedmasters, many of them have been damaged or destroyed over the years and there are no new ones being made, so their value is increasing. Earlier bracelets like the 7077 are significantly more expensive again, a $3000 price tag is not unreasonable for a very good example.

Is there a serial# for the bracelet?
If not, it would be very easy to forge a thing like this and give it a slightly aged look, it's not rocket science, very simple architecture, no rare materials

It's not arbitrary, it's supply and demand. Just look at period Heuer or Rolex sports model bracelets--same deal. High prices because there are more old watch heads than there are their original correct bands still extant and collectors want the bands that match their watches. They ain't making any more of 'em!
Best,
T.

These bracelets are quite a bit more complex than you would probably imagine, they have expanding links with more parts than most bracelets.

Supply and demand isn't scientific; however, a good indication of 'probable' value to the persons involved. Could seem arbitrary to on-lookers without a direct stake.

Good luck on the sale!

It would certainly cost more than 500 to manufacture one of these!
