Omega ‘Speedmaster Companion’ Seamaster Geneve Watch

Hi everyone. Just though I’d share some photos of my recent addition to my collection. From what I know, this one has a pretty rare dial that’s similar in design to the Speedmaster dial, hence sometimes referred to as the Speedmaster Companion.
The dial is singled Geneve and the case back is signed Seamaster. Movement is calibre 552.
The black cross- hair dial is flawless and looks pretty good.
What be nice to know what your thoughts are of this watch and if anyone has a similar watch.

Abs

Based on what I'm seeing, I'm really not sure about any of your claims.

why is that? I’ve just stated the basics, which are commonly known facts. Would be interesting to know what ‘claims’ don’t you agree with?

I am not sure there is a claim. If what the OP is referring to is the Seamaster caseback, it is commonly seen on these Geneve Technical dials and for that matter most 165.002/166.002 references with Geneve badging.
For me, I have always preffered the Seamaster badging on the dial.
One other thing. It may be just the poor quality of the pictures, but it looks to me like the crystal and compression ring may be the wrong fit or aftermarket. If true, this can damage the dial.

Thank you for your comments. Yes it’s the poor photos. The Crystal is original and signed.

Like Larry the Cable Guy says - "Now that's funny, I don't care who you are" 😁
