Gratulacje! Everything about this find is very cool. There are Longines/military collectors all over the world who would love to have this in their collections. Please keep the watch untouched and take your time in making any decisions. Once its gone you will not find another one anytime soon.

    Hello,

you may wonder what I have done with my Longines. The answer is - nothing. All the time I try to gather more and more informations about this watch and the last year was crucial. I found out something about its story and found another old stuff like razors, radios, irons, gramophones and the best treasure - old camera from about 1940 with no film removed probably containing photos from WW2.
If time permits, in the future I will describe all what I have learned.

Yes! How cool that would be to have the film developed. You might even find photos of the original owner wearing the watch!

Please please please keep us posted!

Unfortunately film from camera was broken - there was no way to recover these photos.
In the attachement photo of found camera and one book.

I vote sell it to Longines museum (for a fair price) and let the world enjoy seeing it there. You will have your pictures and the story to go with it (as well as some new capital for later finds).

However, there is one update - the watch will be sold in a few days, so I will no longer own it.
Thank you for your support and any information.

It was a good story. It's sad if the topic is then forgotten. and it will go to the last pages of the forum.
