I love this thread - I get told I'm from the wrong era all the time (I turn 34 next month)...
Random stuff I not only use but rely on:
Hair - Brylcream and a tortoise comb.
Hat - 1940s pattern ten-year-old Stetson fedora in beaver.
Butterfly safety razor with of course featherlite blades and my usual soap and brush/mug for shaving.
Analog manual or automatic watch.
Leather shoes usually by Johnston & Murphy.
S&W .38 Special circa 1940s in the nightstand.
Prefer a fountain pen, use a Waldmann ballpoint at work due to necessity - honestly have no idea how to use a tablet...they can't make calls, do the?
Mostly Brooks Bros. clothing
Manual transmission in the car.
My Snap-It wrenches from the early 70s my dad left me, to work on said car.
I legitimately seek out and regularly chew Wrigley's.
And most of the above is paid for in cash. Which bewilder cashiers until the scanner does the math for them...by which point I'm usually frowning.
And...still the funniest thing in the world to me after all these years:
