·I have been reading up on Speedmasters and their nuances, but I am a novice
I am looking to join the Speedmaster club and buy one that I can afford and wear a lot
I have been offered this "custom made" speedie-priced at around $3000
The seller says that it has a reconditioned 861 movement (looks like from 1987), all parts were brand new except for the movement, the watch was built at an Omega Service Center, and has not been recently serviced. It has not been worn much. I know nothing about the band. It is being sold as in the pictures (these are the only ones I have seen)-I have not seen it in person. I know the seller and have bought other watches from him
I believe that it is considered a franken, but is it worth considering or should I keep looking for an
original and correct model?
Any advice or guidance would be appreciated
Thanks
