Has there ever been any interest in doing an OF forum watch? Or is that non-kosher? I wonder what it will take to do a forum watch made by Omega. Do they even do custom watch projects?
Someone asked this ages ago and the answer is almost certainly no, we'd never do a custom/microbrand type thing and the only situation in which it could ever happen is if Omega actually wanted to do it on a Moonwatch or a SM300 or Aqua Terra or something. In the very unlikely event that they ever did, the watch would have zero "OmegaForums" markings on it or crap written on it and the members would get zero input into its design as every time that happens it looks like that car Homer designed on the Simpsons. We would put it in Trev's hands completely as he is a design specialist not just a web designer and he'd put a twist on one of the standard models that was unique and cool but at the same time even more subtle than most of the current LE's released at Baselworld. If people didn't want it they wouldn't have to buy one, but it'd be so unencumbered by branding related to the site that it'd likely be a popular model even in the general public and we'd insist it be a numbered edition but not limited as scalpers bother the hell out of us.
