60.000 members paying 50 bucks each.... Or if just 10 % paying, that's $300.000. And the content is produced for free by the members.
OF is a great place, I just dont understand why full transparancy aren´t presented as the forum evolves

I will defend transparency and the democracy with my life wearing my Officer 😀

I didn't realize until I saw my avatar in a frame that it was actually on a transparent background instead of a white one, so I had to convert it. 🤦

If only there had been some sort of tool ... an instrument really ... that could be used to inspect things closely...

At this time the thread is only available to staff and is only used to ridicule forum members 🙄

I'm glad you get some benefits for all your hard work.

So the ads for the adult diapers, body hair creams and self help books were recommendations from other members....makes total sense now.

Guess I should come clean: Those ads are from me

While you all have been putting your money into Gamestop and crypto, I've been busy quietly cornering the market on what really matters!

Bud - you don't have to pay.

Nobody has to pay.

We are voluntarily sending our money, in support.

You don't have to.

As a result, your cries for "transparency" (accompanied by photos of ammunition) leave a little to the imagination...

Smelling the coffee is $50 - every time you inhale the coffee, you’re taking away a noble gas that’s vital in the operation of alarm watches.

Done! A drop in the bucket compared to what the creators have invested. Also compare to what I have gained here. Thanks!

So you want to know how much money is left after the donation/membership fee. Why? I'm trying to understand.

Two questions @dsio

That’s AUD $ is it....?

Would me not subscribing potentially see revenue for the forum more that my $100 subscription for OF considering my frequency here....?
(If I can make more money for OF by not subscribing the ads don’t bother me)
I was going to ask the same question.
I don’t mind the ads so if they bring in more revenue I’m happy to keep them.
Otherwise happy to subscribe.

Actually.... now that I think about it, do we really have to have an Omega symbol on those stripey things?
I want a winged hourglass. 😜

I'm curious: why would Paypal force the payer to use a credit card when purchasing a membership? Why would a bank transfer (which is typically, if not always backed-up by a CC) not be an option?

Guys, no surprise here, but Tony would prefer to pay in gold bullion, smelted sterling silver, or some other form of post-apocalyptic currency, please 😁

Quite true, but the forced (?) support of credit card companies is my primary concern, in this instance.

Ok, Then I consider OF as just a regular commercial actor/player on the market. Is that correct?
Our staff yacht, off the coast at Puertofino....

She has sister ship, The Constellation, based out of
Rushcutters bay, an eastern suburb of Sydney.

Certainly not my experience ?

I don't recall having experienced it previously, but my account definitely restricted "this" transaction to a CC. Very odd.
