At this time the thread is only available to staff and is only used to ridicule forum members 🙄

Trade secret information
Ok, Then I consider OF as just a regular commercial actor/player on the market. Is that correct?

NO - BECAUSE PAYING IS AN OPTION THAT RESULTS ONLY IN AVOIDING SEEING ADS (WHILE STILL SUPPORTING OF); PAYMENT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT (OR "MEMBERSHIP")

Sorry for the all caps, but people too quickly lose site of what this is, or is not.

This is STILL a house party someone else is hosting, and they are not selling tickets that entitled anyone to expectations; if you want to chip in on food and beverage, that's great (and the right thing to do according to our mothers). If you do not want to chip in on food and beverage, you don't have to (but you will have to drink/eat what is served to you).

EDIT TO ANALOGY: If you visit the ads version of OF, you are still contributing to the house party in a polite way, and I'm sure they thank you.

Is there's something wrong with this? OF is a good idea so I would'nt be upset if the creators would earn a bit of money with it. And I'm quite the socialist. 😁

Enthusiast forum or a commercial actor like Hoooodinkeee - that´s the question. I will be glad to pay but I like transparency. Nothing strange at all.

I see nothing “regular” with OF!! Quite unusual to find such a sane and welcoming place in the current climate... 😗
