Got a line on this from a private seller, but a couple of things raised my eyebrows: 1. I can't find any other Heuers in this configuration 2. I've never seen a Heuer bezel with the round indicator at 12 rather than the inverted triangle 3. It looks _exactly_ like a Lator from the same period (https://timepeaks.com/item/pr347/) 4. It's not signed Heuer anywhere else besides the dial (i.e. inside caseback), and the back is a blank screw-down . The seller seems honest, and says his watchmaker never raised any issues of its authenticity. But still . . .
That was my first reaction, and then I started to see this case (T.K. Co.) show up in a whole range of brands--Elgin, Wittnauer, Rotary, etc. It makes it seem more feasible that Heuer would have jumped in as well, but hardly certain. https://www.mwrforum.net/forums/showthread.php?40319-1960-1980-s-Watch-Case-Manufacturer-s
