··Cajuns and Gators can't read newspapers!FS: Heuer Autavia Ref. 11630 "Viceroy" - Caliber 12 - $3,750
Up for sale is a 1970s Heuer Autavia 11630 in the Viceroy execution - black dial, contrasting white registers, red accents on the classic rotating-bezel Autavia case.A note on the "Viceroy" name, in the interest of full transparency: the actual Viceroy cigarette promotion ran from May through December of 1972. The case number on this example (314558) places its production after the promotion had ended. Heuer kept this dial configuration in the catalog for years afterward, so this is a factory-correct Viceroy-style Autavia - it just wasn't one of the ~5,000 watches sold through the $88 voucher deal.
The watch runs on the Heuer Caliber 12 automatic chronograph movement. Dial and hands carry their original tritium lume. The watch was serviced when I purchased it over 10 years ago, so no warranty is offered. It keeps time and the chronograph functions start, stop and reset sharply as they should.
Currently mounted on a black leather leather strap (shown in photos), which comes with the watch.
