No...it will say contact your local boutique/dealer. You won't be able to purchase one online...

Why do some of the watches on the Omega website say the same?

For example I am unable to purchase my Pitch Black DSOM online, and most AD are not able to get hold of them either.

Hi, what country are you located in? It is available on the U.S. website.

Not all countries have the same inventory so it depends. Omega UK may have some in stock while Omega China may be sold out so the website in China won't show any in stock.

I'm in the UK and it could be me being silly.

I know it says order now but it also says Contact A Boutique About This Piece.

It doesn't say it's in stock and ready to ship.

I cant find any in UK AD's anymore. I purchased mine from an AD when they were clearing their stock.

Just put a deposit down at OB. In US so deposit was $5k. Was talking to my advisor and they mentioned that it will be a “limited production run” and not a “limited edition run”. As long as you have a deposit down, you are guaranteed one. Take this for whatever it is.

Can someone clarify to me how a limited production works?

Surely every watch is limited production? In that Omega won’t ever make any watch infinitely...

All watches get discontinued or updated at some point don’t they?

You will still get a unique production number emboldened on the watch just that there is no known total quantity reflected in it. For example look at this photo for a moon to mars, it carries a limited production number 2545 9FA6BFBE-B6CB-4470-84E6-029ED64A6F42.jpeg

Technically yes, but the distinction is that limited production is produced either in limited quantities and/or over a short time frame such that acquiring one is more difficult, either because there's relatively more people who want the watch than is being produced or because you can only buy the watch over a 2 year window or something. Effectively Rolex SS watches have unintentionally (or intentionally depending on how you look at it) become limited production watches.

I don’t think that’s the case with the snoopy release. Nobody from OB mentioned yet it will be numbered edition. I expect it to be similar as Apollo 8 or no time to die - limited production but not numbered.

i agree. They can see what happened with the last snoopy... and we know omega is about maximizing profits.

    But we’ll see.

You might be right. Numbered edition as I have indicated may not be limited production

How can something be limited with no official end date or number?

It either has to be one or the other, and if it is limited by date then it is not really limited because they will have to honour orders in that time frame before production is ceased.

What I would like to see is :

    Ceramic Case
    Full lume.
The mfr date stamped on the back of the watch case.
    Piece number i.e. 1/7000
A tag on the watch signed by the watchmaker.

So with all the talk about limited production and a price <$10k, will there be any gold or that it will be an anniversary watch?

That price would allow some gold ala Apollo 11 50th. It's not an anniversary watch, just a celebration of the Snoopy prize.

The watch (if there is one) is to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Omega being presented with the Silver Snoopy.

So what ever Omega does it will be a celebration and an anniversary ;)
