October 5th 2020 - Snoopy Celebration

Still sounds along the lines of my origional thinking...
* cal. 3861
* approx 6,970 LE pieces, it's sounding like an LE drawn out as limited production over two years so Omega gets its slice
* white dial, although 'and blue' sounds intriguing
* the inclusion of white gold being a 50th even though it's a Silver Snoopy Award/A13 related
* approx. £8k as similar pricing to the A11 50th plus recent price hike

Where would this blue be found - on the strap, color of tachymeter or panda dial with blue subdials?

I’m missing something here, when has it been confirmed it’s going to not be a limited edition?

All I’ve seen is people here staying OBs and ADs have told them this? My OB said it was a limited edition of 7000?

3rd hand should not be considered “confirmed”
heard it for myself from OB yesterday that it will not be a limited edition but a limited production

difference will be having them numbered vs. not. You know the collectors love them numbers!
FOIS is not a limited edition but is numbered 😀 I prefer this I like it so everyone who wants can order and also like numbered.
My FOIS is number 11111, which I think is pretty cool. Be really cool if I can get 11111 in the Snoopy 😉

I feel like the carved back medallions from the previous Snoopy watches are such a nice addition. So I would hope we get something more than an etching on the sapphire back.

I hope it’s not limited edition. Folks can then decide on the watch based on whether or not they like it and not as part of a speculative value frenzy.

I’m so not a fan of etching on sapphire casebacks. Looks tacky to me even on Patek’s.
Point of a clear case back is to admire the movement.

Snoopy will be on the caseback as the footprint is on the 50th

7070 LE me thinks. Same as the 50th everyone was having the same LE, limited production Speculation and it turned out a LE with high numbers. Boutiques were saying the same some saying either of the two options. Basically no one knew until release.

But Omega confirmed the Apollo 11 edition size of 6969, and price, in March 2019, and pieces were started to be delivered in July 2019. Omega has not confirmed anything at this point and we are only two weeks away from unveiling. Omega is doing a rope-a-dope here.

My OB mentioned there would be something special with the movement which leads me to believe it might have sapphire open back. However there are so many conflicting comments from different OBs so who really knows who’s getting legit info.

I’ve also been told limited production not limited edition.

I wonder if Omega realises what pressure they’re on not to stuff this one up 😉

Well couldn’t Omega just be basically confirming details on October 5 with deliveries starting around Xmas time? That would be the similar confirmation delivery time as the Apollo 11. Omega never said watches would be available for sale on October 5.

This thread is exactly like the 50th Buzz, no one knew anything until the release.
Two tone was only guessed by the 50th anniversary
No one knew if it was LE or limited production ( many thought same as here Omega would make it for a few years )

I don’t care what any OB has mentioned as most were wrong for the 50th.

They might even make a Gold one also 😜

5th of October all will be revealed.

One thought / question. Since Omega recently launched an own online-shop in some regions, do you think they will offer the watch also on their site to push the new channel?

Neither am I.
It looks horrible and takes away from the beauty of the watch.

Come on old guys for real ?
I mean it's like "lol" or "😀"
It's really common on forums, or at least that's what I thought.

Think this style is what’s coming. Just think of a Snoopy picture or a paw print

edit : forget the paw print as they never made the moon on the Apollo 13
