My OB in ATL definitely is playing the game of expenditure vs consideration. I almost fell for it. I'd love to get the Snoopy but I'm not purchasing watches I don't love just for the sake of it.
yeah, same experience there (atl). outright told me if I wasn't willing to buy others first I should just go to the grey market.

Has anyone here that put down a deposit or paid in full in October of 2020 still not receive their watch? I'd imagine Omega has filled all those original orders by now.

Just to let you know there is no more deliveries since 6 months in CH, the watch is discontinued internally, maybe some deliveries due to the deposits but no more delivery, for exemple there is still thousands in the waiting list in CH, dont count on it.

Total 13 were booked in India in October 2020 and only 4 are delivered, as per my information, rest are still awaited. Mine is no 9 on the waiting list.

My OB (NYC 5th Ave) said they cleared all their original deposit orders before they could get to me at the end of last year.

The old Houston OB management team told me a couple of years ago that they cleared out their deposit list. I think it was about 35-40 in total and took about 3 years maybe.

Rubbing elbows with my OB SA, they are hearing indications from Omega that the 50th will cease deliveries in January 2025. There will then be an announcement sometime in 2025 for the next iteration with 2026 production.

I haven't heard anything (also haven't asked tbf) but this kinda timeline would make sense. Hopefully it means they start production for the 55th earlier lol.

I don’t think they are going to make a 55th, they seem to be moving away from anniversary pieces every 5 years. There was nothing for the 55th anniversary of Apollo 11

Yeah, I think making a 55th anniversary is kind of dumb but I still hope Omega makes some kind of special edition Speedmaster. A new LE every other year is overkill but I can live with a new SE every 5 years or so.

2025 probably a 50th anniversary Apollo Soyuz. It would make more sense than a 55th Snoopy. I guess we'll find out July 17, 2025?

Changed the strap to a non omega blue rubber and I’ve become even more attached. Much comfier and in my view, a better look than the original strap.

wristbuddys - I tried a few places, also have the blue and white striped nato, but this is definitely the best strap for this watch imo.

After being on the list since Oct 2020 I was finally able to pick the watch up yesterday.
From what the OB told me their network usually receive one Snoopy per shipment, which usually ranges between 1 - 3 months.
For what it’s worth though, I got the allocation 1 week after I picked up the Bond 60th and it seems it came in with the same shipment.

I forgot to mention, when I was looking at the Bond 60th 2 weeks prior before deciding to buy that watch, I was told no more names were being put down on the Snoopy wait list for the near future.
