Latest Snoopy news.... The puppies have new shoes.

BTW, for the avoidance of any doubt, the new Speedmaster bracelet (with clasp extension mechanism) fits the 1861 case without issues.

For those lucky enough to receive the plush Snoopy toy that accompanies the watch, did that happen via the OB? I’d like one as my watch will one day belong to my 8 year old great niece, who’s totally obsessed with Snoopy! My (amazing) OB in London wasn’t able to get me one. I wanted to know how you got one…. Thank you!

Seems to be the new swatch snoopy release.
Swatch teasered Snoopy with a birthday cake with two candles. 26th March 2022 was the first Moonswatch release.

Heading to the OB in Manhatten next week to specifically inquire about the snoopy. Odds I get told no or laughed out of the boutique? I have zero purchase history with OBs and only my local AD. Kept hoping my AD would be able to secure an alocation but never happened. Hell, I would buy a new speedy and SMP if it meant I could have a 50th SS at retail.

I brought it up when I checked out the white speedy last week. SA I never met with before. Got a rather smug response. I've also overheard them laughing about people trying to "skip the line" by making other purchases in the past. NYC OB's have large client lists with huge spend histories. That strategy might work in other OBs, but very unlikely in the financial capital of the world 😜

Good point, might be more pragmatic to try Chicago or Nashville. Those are closer to me anyway. I'm not even trying to "jump the line", I just want to be put on the dang list! haha

If this is a new MoonSwatch, would the Omega boutiques even have information about these?

Yea I have close to 6 figures of spend history with the NYC 5th Ave OB and I'm probably not even in their top third of spenders.
Took me almost 3 years to get my snoopy.

Gawddamn. Well, all I can do is try. I know my AD is a dead end. Omega is saying it is current production and non-limited. So to the OB I will trek. Only other option is the gray and I will exhaust all other efforts before I head there.

You are very, very late to the Snoopy game to get one from a Boutique, in my opinion it just isn't going to happen going forward. Omega is just fulfilling the waiting lists around the world for those that were assured they would get a Snoopy. You can keep trying the OB route but it's fruitless. Could a miracle happen, sure, it's just not likely. If you really want a Snoopy at this point you are going to have to go grey and pay the market price which is higher than the one Omega has set for the pooch. C24 has 12 listed in the USA with the lowest price at $17k. Their history chart has the price topping out at $32k in April '22 and now at about $18k. If I really liked and wanted the watch $17k doesn't sound out of bounds to me. Sometimes you just have to pay to play.

You're not wrong. I only got into watches maybe a year ago so it was already unobtainium when I first learned about it. Ive been watching the watchchart history of them, there is one currently on auction at Southebys Ill be watching. Ill still try my luck, have a work trip to NC in two weeks, Ill go to the OB in Charlotte with low expectations. 😉

It doesn't hurt to ask, you never know.

The Hong Kong OB had a Snoopy on display and a Canopus 321 in stock as well. They offered the Canopus 321 to me but wouldn't say how one could buy the Snoopy haha.

^^^ That's a big negatory. Uninspired, uncolorful, and at approx $310 overpriced for a plastic Swatch. But they'll sell a ton of them.

I am from HK too - I am surprised I "got the call" last week for the Snoopy. Just got it yesterday (although this one will be my wife's and she's paying for it lol). Seems it's easier to get in HK now?

I think at this point most shops have gone through their original waiting lists from 2020 so its more about "building relationship" to get one.
I went to the OB at K11 Musea which I believe is brand new so they definitely dont have a waiting list from 2020 lol.
